7.5.1. Maintenance

Regularly check an inhaling of nuts of a low-voltage conclusion of sensors-races-predelitelya, fastening of connecting wires, a condition of the runner, a cover of the distributor and in case of their pollution wipe with the cotton fabric moistened in pure gasoline.
Periodically check the ignition switch for correctness of short circuit of contacts at various provisions of a key (see tab. 24), operation of the anti-theft device and operation of the blocking device of repeated inclusion of a starter.
Through 50 000 km measure resistance of the combined piece of coal located in an internal part of the central conclusion of a cover of a raspre-divider. The piece of coal is subject to replacement if the size of its resistance goes beyond limits of 6000-15 000 Ohms.
Carefully wash out pure gasoline the stator support ball-bearing, put in it Litol-24 lubricant no more than 2/3 free volumes of the bearing (previously remove a cover, the runner, a rotor and a support of the stator).

For prevention of superficial breakdown and progara covers of the sensor-raspredelitelya you watch that high-voltage wires with tips were inserted into cover nests to an emphasis. It is impossible to include ignition at availability of moisture on a cover. You watch purity of plastic details (a cover, the runner, a low-voltage conclusion, etc.).

Order of installation of the moment of ignition

1. Install the piston of the first cylinder in compression step VMT before coincidence of a tag of MZ (5 ° to VMT) on a pulley of a bent shaft with a pin on a cover of distributive gear wheels (see fig. 23).
2. Remove a plastic cover from the sensor-raspredelitelya. Make sure that the electrode of the runner is established against a conclusion on a cover of the sensor-raspredelitelya marked with figure "1" (a conclusion for a wire of ignition of a candle of the first cylinder of the engine).
3. Tighten a bolt with the index inserted into it a plate a sensor-raspredelitelya octane-korrektora to the drive case so that the index coincided with average division of a scale an octane-korrektora.
4. Weaken a bolt of fastening of a plate an octane-korrektora to the sensor-raspredelitelya case.
5. Holding with a finger the runner against its rotation (for elimination of gaps in the drive), carefully turn the case before combination to one line of a red tag on a rotor and petal edges on the stator. Fix by a bolt a plate an octane-korrektora on the sensor-raspredelitelya case.
6. Establish a cover of sensors-races-predelitelya, check correctness of accession of wires of ignition to candles according to order of operation of cylinders of the engine 1-2-4-3, considering against an hour arrow.
After each installation of ignition check the accuracy of installation of the moment of ignition, listening to operation of the engine at the movement of the car.
For this purpose warm up the engine up to the temperature of 80 °C, move on direct transfer on the flat road with a speed of 40 km/h, then accelerate the car, having sharply pressed a pedal of the drive of the throttle gate. If thus the insignificant short-term detonation to the speed of 55-60 km/h is observed, then installation of the moment of ignition is made correctly.

At a strong detonation turn the case of the sensor-raspredelitelya (fig. 292) on a scale an octane-korrektora on 0,5–1,0 division against an hour arrow. Each division of a scale corresponds to change of the moment of ignition on 4 °, considering on a bent shaft. At total absence of a detonation the arrow needs to increase an ignition advancing corner turn of the case of the sensor-raspredelitelya clockwise.
