2.4.3. Dismantling of the engine

Disassemble the engine by means of A-S devices (appendix 4).
Install the engine on the repair stand and fix by bolts of its support.

Disconnect a starter and establish a clip of 1 wreath of a flywheel on a case of a flywheel (fig. 99).

Turn off the nut fixing a pulley of a bent shaft. Remove a pulley by means of a stripper of 1 (fig. 100).

Turn off bolts of 2 (fig. 101) and remove a flywheel 1.

Disconnect tubes of 1 (fig. 102) of a supply and removal of oil from a turbocompressor 2. Turn off nuts of hairpins and remove a turbocompressor.

Turn off bolts of 2 (fig. 103) and remove a pulley of 1 pump of the cooling system.
Disconnect hoses from a pump housing. Turn off bolts 2 and nuts of the 6th fastening and remove the pump 4 and laying 5.

Remove nozzles of 1 (fig. 104) by means of a stripper 1 (see the appendix 4).
Uncover yokes.
Remove inlet, final collectors and a collector of the cooling system. Mark heads of cylinders with numbers and remove them, having turned off bolts.

Prevention
Do not remove a head of cylinders from the hot engine.

Take out bars of pushers of valves and take hydropushers from the block of cylinders by means of adaptation 1 (fig. 105).

Disconnect a gear wheel of the fuel pump of high pressure by means of a stripper of 1 (fig. 106).

Note
If the fuel pump needs to be removed without removal of a forward cover of driving gear wheels, then to keep the provision of a gear wheel of the fuel pump, execute the following:
– disconnect all wires and tubes from the pump;
– turn a bent shaft to VMT of a step of compression of the first piston, having combined tags on a forward cover of 2 (fig. 107) and a pulley of 1 bent shaft;
– turn a bent shaft in the opposite direction on 25-30 ° in order that the spline was in the top situation and did not fall under a forward cover of driving gear wheels in the course of installation dismantle of the pump;
– turn off a stopper of a cover and a nut of a gear wheel of the fuel pump, by means of a stripper 1 (see fig. 106) remove gear wheels;
– turn off three nuts fixing the pump and remove it.
In order to avoid violation of provision of a gear wheel, do not disconnect a stripper 1 from a forward cover of driving gear wheels before installation of the pump.

Turn the engine and remove an oil case (fig. 108).
Turn off conrod bolts, uncover rods and take out pistons with rods from the block.
Establish covers on rods not to mix them. Mark pistons number of the cylinder.

Turn off bolts of a persistent flange of the camshaft and take out a shaft (fig. 109).

Turn off bolts of 1 and 2 (fig. 110) and take vacuum and oil pumps respectively.

If necessary by means of adaptation 2 remove a gear wheel of 1 bent shaft (fig. 111).

Take adapters of 1 supply of oil (fig. 112).

Take a bent shaft with support from the block of cylinders of the engine. To take out a bent shaft from the engine without removing a gear wheel of 1 (fig. 113), use adaptation 2. Having turned off bolts of support, take inserts.

Turn the engine in normal situation and take out sleeves of cylinders from their nests by means of adaptation 1 (fig. 114), having carefully cleared them of old sealant.
