The scheme of a power supply system is shown in fig. 64.
   The filter of thin purification of fuel (BOSCH, 0 450 126 246) is shown in fig. 65.
At a temperature of air below 0 °C include the switch located on dashboards, the device 3 heatings of fuel.
Periodically, and also at fire of a control lamp of availability of water in fuel delete a sediment from the filter (turn off a stopper 5, merge a sediment before emergence of a stream of pure fuel and wrap a stopper).
Once a year or through 10 000 km of a run (depending on what will come earlier) replace the filtering element as follows:
– merge a sediment;
– turn off the filtering element 4, remove laying 7;
– turn out a stopper 5 and clear an end face of the sensor of availability of water of dirt and pitches;
– before assembly wash out details pure fuel, 6 and 7 oil laying by industrial (I-5A, I-8A or I-12A). Replace the damaged laying;
– establish laying 7, tighten the new filtering element 4 before contact of laying 7 with the surface of the filter and tighten the filtering element on 1–1,5 turns. Moment of an inhaling of 10-15 N • m (1,0 - 1,5 kgfs • l);
– wrap a stopper 5 with laying 6;
– the pump of manual pumping (handle 1) pump over the filter, launch the engine and be convinced of tightness of the filter.
Carry out pumping of the filter as follows:
– turn off a stopper 2;
– the handle 1 pump over the filter before emergence of a stream of fuel without vials of air;
– wrap a stopper 2 and again pump over the filter (5–10 movements by the pump handle).
The production of air from a fuel supply system needs to be carried out:
– at the first launch of the engine;
– after long idle time of the engine;
– at dismantle of pipelines, the filter or pump of high pressure;
– after replacement of the filtering element of the fuel filter.
For production of air from system pump over the fuel filter as it is stated above.
At hit of air in the fuel pump of high pressure (FPHP) pump over the fuel filter, then weaken on 1–2 turns of a nut of fastening of tubes of high pressure on nozzles, scroll a bent shaft a starter before emergence of fuel from under nuts and tighten nuts.

At operation of the car do not break factory seals on adjusting screws of the maximum frequency of rotation of a bent shaft and the maximum cyclic supply of fuel.
Periodically check reliability of fastening of TNVD and tightness of fuel-supply lines. Moment of an inhaling of 25 N • m (2,5 kgfs • м).

The minimum frequency of rotation of a bent shaft in the idling mode (800–900 min.-1) is regulated on the heated-up engine by means of the screw C (fig. 66).
Nozzles. Pressure of injection has to make 16 500–17 300 kPa.
Carry out check at the special stand at service station.
Glow plugs. It is forbidden to warm up the engine glow plugs at start-up from the external power supply more than 12 V.
Periodically check work of candles of an incandescence. Turn out a candle and give on it tension: the cover of a spiral has to be warmed until red. Through 60 000 km of a run of a candle replace.

Turbocompressor. Periodically check axial (fig. 67) and radial (fig. 68) shaft gaps. The maximum axial gap has to be no more
0,16 mm, radial – no more than 0,43 mm.
At detection of the axial and radial gaps exceeding the specified sizes, the turbocompressor should be repaired.
